CALCULATOR
Abvolt to Microvolt Converter
Convert a signed electric potential difference from abvolts to microvolts.
How the calculation works
Microvolts = abvolts × 10⁻⁸ volts per abvolt ÷ 10⁻⁶ volts per microvolt = abvolts × 0.01.
Worked example
With voltage 1 abV, voltage is 0.01 µV.
Assumptions and limits
The input is a signed electric potential difference. NIST gives 1 abV = 10⁻⁸ V and the micro prefix as 10⁻⁶, so 1 abV = 0.01 µV. The finite input range keeps the absolute output at or below 10,000,000,000 µV.
